Engineer (RF) – Radio / TV
The Community Idea Stations (WCVE NPR/PBS) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Transmission Systems Engineer - RF. This full-time position maintains company transmitters and translator sites to be within FCC, FAA, and Company specifications. Successful candidate will install, operate and maintain transmitter RF systems for proper operation with minimum broadcast interruptions or downtime of the company’s 6 broadcast transmitters.
Must have a minimum of four years practical experience in broadcast engineering/maintenance, diagnosis and repair of equipment. Flexibility to work various shifts and unusual hours (nights and weekends) as necessary. Must have driver’s license.
