VPM is seeking a part time Digital Operations Technician to work on an as-needed basis covering all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Digital Operations Technician is responsible for acquiring content from varied sources in different formats, monitoring signal streams and ensuring that scheduled events run correctly. This position is responsible for preventing, monitoring and reporting on-air errors.

Candidates should have the ability to perform basic troubleshooting of both standard and high-definition broadcast streams and automation. Candidates should have a basic understanding of or experience in broadcast video and audio standards and digital signal flow. Candidates should have excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Experience in a server-based broadcast operation and knowledge of broadcast automation and video file server technology is preferred.
